Laboratory Technician
$20 - $25 per hourCynet Systems
Job Overview: Pay Range: $20hr - $25hr
- Support routine laboratory testing and sample preparation activities in accordance with approved procedures.
- Accurately document laboratory work, sample information, and results in logs, reports, and digital systems.
- Assist with sample handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, workspaces, and inventory in a clean and operational condition.
- Support QA/QC activities and audits as directed by laboratory leadership.
- Perform risk analysis prior to tasks to identify and mitigate safety or quality concerns.
- Participate in health, safety, and quality initiatives and maintain required safety training.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Less than two years of relevant laboratory or technical experience.
- Conduct laboratory testing and sample preparation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support laboratory operations and maintenance.
- Interest in laboratory work and willingness to learn technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Coursework or hands-on experience in a scientific setting preferred.
