Responsibilities include managing a caseload, providing therapy, ensuring documentation compliance, and collaborating with referral sources.Persons with lived experience in mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose, and treat adults and children using DSM-5 criteriaProvide individual and group therapyParticipate in crisis intervention and emergency on-call rotationDetermine eligibility for agency servicesMaintain accurate documentation in the electronic health recordCollaborate with community partners and interagency teamsQualificationsMaster’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or CounselingMichigan licensure: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, or LLPC (full license preferred)CADC or CAADC certification preferredStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work flexible hours and travel within service areaValid Michigan driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and satisfactory driving recordAdditional RequirementsParticipation in after-hours emergency services on-call rotationPre-employment background check (criminal, driving, education, employment)U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.About WellvanceWellvance provides state-funded public mental health services to residents of Iosco, Ogemaw, and Oscoda counties.
