You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Taking pride and passion for your work and working within a team.Compensation: $33 - $35/hr depending on experience. Primarily PM shifts candidate must have a flexible schedule.Essential Job Functions:As a supervisor, you will lead by example in assisting guest with room calls and troubleshoot concerns brought to your attentionMaintain a Preventative Maintenance program for guest rooms, and other operational equipment, pools, kitchen equipment and other areas as assignedSupport needs of your department head while giving guidance to the engineers in the departmentCreate a team environment in your department and with other departments: Front Office, Security, Sales, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and othersWork safe utilization of proper PPE and comply with all safety regulations set for by the city, state and OSHAPerform general repair and maintenance of any and all equipment found in and around the hotelPhysical Demands:• Lift, push, pull, rotate 50lbs or more • Standing and walking up to a full 8 hours a dayQualifications:Education: High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience working in a hotel or customer service capacityExperience: Mathematical knowledge of building and construction Full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, Excel Must have experience working on HVAC, plumbing, construction and machinery Full-Time position with the flexibility to workdays, nights, weekends and holidaysSpire Hospitality, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and veteransEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
