You'll work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored automation solutions across the Southeast region. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of PLC engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration Manage project lifecycles from planning through execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met Provide technical oversight and troubleshooting for complex automation systems Serve as a technical advisor to clients on system architecture, technology selection, and implementation strategies Coordinate resource planning and allocate engineering support across projects and sales opportunities Support proposal development by contributing to scopes of work and cost estimates Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to maintain service quality Conduct performance reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives Monitor team KPIs and implement strategies for performance optimization Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices Qualifications Required: U.S. Citizenship Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in PLC systems, including at least 2 years in a leadership role Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel up to 50% across NC, SC, and VA Valid driver's license Preferred: Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms and industrial networking Familiarity with industry standards (ISA, IEC) Background in regulated industries (e.g., FDA) Project management certification (e.g., PMP) Experience with computer systems validation and Windows-based environments Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Industries Automation Machinery Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at LVI Associates by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Service Manager” roles.
