Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients admitted to the hospital with a strong rehabilitation focus.
- Administer physical therapy treatments designed to improve mobility and physical capability.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate comprehensive care.
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans as necessary.
- Utilize all lift equipment and large rehab gym equipment available.
- Float to nearby units like Eckerd Living Center if needed during shifts.
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience with Cerner electronic documentation system preferred.
- Proven ability to deliver focused rehabilitation treatment services.
- Strong communication and patient care planning skills.
