Based in Santa Monica, we have 6 convenient locations throughout Los Angeles County.University Foot and Ankle is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator to answer a high volume of calls, provide excellent customer service, and provide support to the practices.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnswers a high volume of calls and schedules appointments for all patients with a high degree of accuracyCommunicates clearly on the phone and accurately documents and assigns messagesConfirms and updates contact information for all patients at every contactMakes follow-up calls for any messages leftDocuments appointment visit status, including rescheduled, cancelled, confirmed, left voice message, or any other status appropriatelyDelivers all communications with excellent customer serviceBe courteous and professional for all patient interactionsRoutes calls to appropriate staff for swift resolutionRequirementsStrong computer skills, including basic keyboarding skillsAbility to navigate through patient records systemsAbility to analyze situations, prioritize, develop solutions, and make recommendationsAbility to work with minimal supervisionExcellent customer service and communication skills over the telephoneAbility to community sensitively and effectively with patientsExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of medical practice terminologyEducation and ExperienceMinimum High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience in fast paced scheduling or call center1+ years of customer service experienceExperience working with performance metricsExperience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Benefits of Working with University Foot and Ankle InstituteMedical, Dental, and Vision PlansHSA with Employer ContributionFSAGenerous PTO Program401k with a 3% MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability
