About the Position

Job Title: Mammography Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Mammography Must-Have: Must be familiar with Hologic equipment, Biopsy experience preferred but not required Description: This role is for a Mammography Tech. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 08:00 to 17:30. The position does not require floating between units. On-call duty and weekends are not required. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Candidates should have experience with 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, and Digital Mammography. Familiarity with Digital Quality Assurance Procedures and Fine Needle Aspiration is preferred. Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX is a plus. Responsibilities include performing breast biopsies, localizations, and various mammography procedures. The facility offers support with interpretation services. Providers in this role should adhere to radiation safety and universal precautions. Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays. References are required covering the last year. Travelers must be flexible with the assigned schedule. All communication should be through proper channels.
