Key Position Details .8 FTE (64 hours per two‑week pay period) 8‑hour day/evening shifts No weekends, Mondays off Responsibilities Assessment: Collect, prioritize and synthesize comprehensive data related to the patient’s health or situation using evidence‑based techniques. Diagnosis: Analyze assessment data to determine, formulate, and communicate nursing diagnoses in compliance with guidelines. Outcomes Identification: Establish individualized, realistic, and measurable outcomes in collaboration with the patient and family. Planning: Develop and document a care plan that prescribes interventions and provides for continuity of care, incorporating current regulations and evidence. Implementation: Execute the care plan safely and timely, including coordination with providers and documentation of interventions. Evaluation: Assess patient progress, revise diagnoses and plans as needed, and involve the patient, family, and team in the evaluation process. Quality of Practice: Participate in and contribute to quality‑improvement activities, using QI data to enhance nursing practice. Education and Professional Development: Engage in educational activities, self‑evaluation, and peer feedback to maintain competency and professional growth. Collegiality & Collaboration: Provide constructive feedback, share knowledge, and promote a supportive work environment. Ethics & Advocacy: Maintain professional boundaries, act ethically, and advocate for patient self‑advocacy using available resources. Research & Evidence Integration: Apply research findings and best evidence to guide practice decisions. Resource Utilization: Manage resources safely and effectively, ensuring accessibility for future use. Leadership: Demonstrate professional role modeling, participate in shared decision‑making, and foster teamwork. Environmental Health: Practice and promote environmentally safe procedures, reducing risks for staff and patients. Charge Nurse (when acting): Coordinate unit operations, meet patient and resource needs, and promote a culture of growth. Preceptor (when acting): Identify learning needs, devise orientation plans, and evaluate competencies to support new staff. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Associate’s or Vocational degree graduate of an accredited school of nursing. For new RN graduates: 0–2 years of RN experience; for internal clinic employees: 3+ years as CMA or LPN (accredited school without clinical rotations). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licenses/Certifications Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing, required if working in MN. Licensed Registered Nurse – WI Dept of Safety & Professional Services, required if working in WI. BLS Tier1 – Basic Life Support, required within 30days. RN‑BC Ambulatory Care, preferred. Physical Demands Medium. Lifting weight up to 32lbs occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25lbs frequently. Pay Range $40.08 to $54.93 per hour (base hiring pay range; may change based on experience, education, and shift differentials).
