Location: Wichita, KS. MUST BE ACTIVE‑DUTY U.S. MILITARY TO QUALIFY. Job Description We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet of aircraft. This key role ensures and manages our team to deliver timely, high‑quality transportation services and care to patients. Responsibilities Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician. Manage inventory checks, maintain equipment tracking log, request replacements and document part expenditures. Document service paperwork and FAA information as required, adhere to policies and procedures, and comply with company information security standards. Maintain a safe, clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew. Use appropriate communication methods to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors and team members. Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs and operations team. Minimum Required Qualifications Current FAA Airframe Mechanic certificate (or verified work history that meets minimum requirements to obtain written approval for Airframe testing within 6 months of hire). Current FAA Repairman’s certificate (or verified work history that meets minimum requirements to obtain certificate within 6 months of hire). Five (5) years field maintenance experience maintaining avionics systems in modern complex fixed‑wing or rotorcraft operated under an air‑carrier (14 CFR Part 135) certificate. Preferred Qualifications FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate. Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135. Autopilot maintenance experience. Avionics and electrical repair experience. SkillBridge Program Active‑duty U.S. Military Service Members only. Participants retain military pay and benefits and are not compensated by GMR. Eligible for a 180‑day training and internship program during the final six months of active duty. Minimum requirements: current active‑duty Service Member, meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications, available for 180 days, signed approval from unit commander. 24‑hour base housing provided at select locations for Field Mechanics. After completion, newly hired AMTs may be considered for full‑time employment with salary range $65,239–$94,567, IA stipend $2,080, sign‑on bonus $12,500, and schedule M‑F or 4/10.
