Foundry Supervisor (5pm - 3am Mon-Thurs)

We are a 30‑year‑old US‑based manufacturer seeking an experienced Foundry Supervisor for the eveningshift (5 pm–3 am, Monday–Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays and Saturdays). The role is integral to our manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth and efficient foundry production while maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of approximately 20 during the evening shift. Develop and implement production schedules, coordinating resources and manpower to meet targets. Train and mentor team members, fostering continuous learning. Monitor and report on production performance, identifying improvement opportunities. Handle work requests, coordinating with other departments and stakeholders. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures. Address any issues or conflicts, maintaining a positive work environment. Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems. Qualifications Minimum 3 years in a foundry/casting environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Proven leadership skills and a track record of motivating teams. Experience in scheduling, planning, and resource coordination. Strong training abilities, mentoring and developing team members. Excellent reporting skills to monitor and report production performance. Experience handling work requests and coordinating with other departments. Strong commitment to safety and experience implementing safety protocols. Excellent problem‑solving skills. Proactive commitment to continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills at all levels.
