Parsippany, NJ (Onsite Position) Our client is looking for an accounting professional as they achieve continued growth. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for general accounting, as well as weekly and monthly reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare journal entries, analysis and account reconciliations. Help maintain, improve and participate in the month-end close process. Ensure compliance with GAAP. Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Perform in-depth variance analysis for revenue and operating expenses. Prepare operational and ad hoc reporting for additional. Assist in preparing and consolidating financial reporting and analysis for P&L and balance sheet. Intercompany reconciliation. Assists with year-end budgeting and planning. REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance, combined with 5-7 years accounting experience. CPA certification preferred. Strong accounting skills and working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel with experience using V Lookups Formulas, and Pivot Tables. Proficient in Accounting and Financial systems such as Sage / Oracle / SAP / QuickBooks.
