Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Overview We are seeking a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) to serve as a Mental Health Coordinator within our facility. This role is responsible for planning, providing, and overseeing non-medical clinical mental health services to inmates. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical acumen, ethical practice, and the ability to function independently in a secure facility environment. Job Details Job Title: LCSW Schedule: M-F Shift: Day shifts, typically 5x8s, though the facility is also open to 4x10 or 3x12 schedules. Pay Range: $2400-$2800/ Gross Weekly DOE Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and review of records. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation and functional assessment. Provide evidence-based individual and group counseling services, crisis intervention, and mental health support. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Apply advanced knowledge of psychological theories and counseling techniques to address a range of inmate mental health needs. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all applicable legal, ethical, and professional standards. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution. Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience, including at least two (2) years in a comparable correctional or institutional setting. Active and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of practice. Valid driver’s license preferred (unless otherwise required by contract or statute). Must be at least 18 years of age. Strong diagnostic, clinical, and crisis management skills. Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Adherence to ethical guidelines and a strong understanding of confidentiality standards in correctional settings. Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation practices.
