7:30 to 3:30, Monday through Friday. No nights. No weekends. No tip dependency.

Most moving and delivery jobs in Chicago run late, run Saturdays, and pay you partly in tips you can't count on. This one doesn't.

Sizzle Home Staging installs and removes furniture in homes for sale across Chicagoland. We're looking for an experienced box truck driver who works as part of the crew on site, not just behind the wheel.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Drive and operate a 24' box truck on daily routes across Chicagoland. You'll be on the expressways most days. No overnight routes, no multi-day trips, home every night
• Load and unload furniture, artwork, rugs, and decor between our warehouse and client homes
• Set up and break down staging - furniture assembly, placement, wrapping, and packing
• Work as part of a close-knit crew that moves together from job to job

Most days are two to four stops.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - PLEASE READ

This is real furniture-moving work. You'll lift and carry furniture throughout the day - sofas, dressers, dining tables, box springs, rugs, accessories - including two-person lifts of heavier pieces. Stairs, elevators, and tight doorways are part of most jobs. You should be able to lift 50 lbs on your own and team-lift heavier furniture safely.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Illinois Class C non-CDL driver's license - required and current. We are not able to train or sponsor
• Verifiable experience driving a 24' box truck professionally
• Clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a 24' truck on Chicago expressways in traffic, and backing into tight residential and alley loading spots
• Reliability. Our day starts at 7:30 AM and the trucks usually leave at 8:15. If you're the kind of person who shows up on time, you'll do well here
• Ability to work as part of a crew - everyone moves together, everyone pitches in
• Basic comfort with furniture assembly and hand tools
• Ability to report daily to our warehouse in West Garfield Park, Chicago
• Background check required

SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Eight-hour days. Home every night. Occasional overtime during our busy spring and summer season.

• $25.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on experience
• Weekly pay, direct deposit
• Paid 30-minute lunch every day
• Paid through end of shift when the day's work finishes early
• Vacation: 40 hours in your first year, 80 hours every year after
• Sick time: accrues as you work, 1 hour for every 35 hours worked
• 401(k) with 3% company contribution
• $50 per month phone reimbursement
• Semi-annual bonuses
