Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Schedule: Straight Nights 7P-7:30A, Every Other Weekend and Holiday, On Call per Unit Needs

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not guaranteed

Requirements:
- Unencumbered state RN License
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience
- Minimum of 1 year of travel experience
- High acuity unit experience with mentor/charge experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological health.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses and making necessary adjustments.
- Document all patient assessments and interventions accurately in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective communication with patients and families.
- Educate patients and families on managing conditions and preparing for discharge.
