Madison, WI Onsite Contract Starts 8/28/2026 Ends 8/27/2027 Share on Job Description Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for an Onsite position with a Global Scientific Company located in Madison, WI. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. This position is responsible for the building of various complex scientific instruments to support production goals. The ideal candidate will be part of an engaging team and collaborate with colleagues to solve problems and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Build, test, and calibrate all levels of assemblies and install in the final build of instruments that meet quality standards Follow work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies, material handling, and inventory verification Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team culture Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required May require exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects Desired skills: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience with mechanical assembly, various hand tools, and soldering Pay range: up to $22.00 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
