Duties & Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel components according to job specifications and production requirements. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare metal surfaces and materials for welding, fitting, and fabrication. Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, accuracy, and workmanship. Measure, position, align, and secure components before and during the welding process. Follow established welding procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements. Maintain an organized work area and properly care for welding tools and equipment. Work with production team members to complete fabrication projects accurately and on schedule. Qualifications & Requirements Required: MIG welding skills and the ability to produce consistent, quality welds. Ability to safely operate welding equipment and work in a steel fabrication environment. Ability to follow work instructions, measurements, and production requirements. Dependable attendance and ability to work the full Monday-Friday schedule. Willingness to follow all required workplace and welding safety procedures. Resume and interview are required for consideration. Preferred: Previous MIG welding, manufacturing, metal fabrication, or structural steel experience. Experience reading shop drawings, blueprints, measurements, or fabrication specifications. Experience using common metalworking and fabrication tools.
