We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips.Expected work schedule for the Campus Liaison:Full- or part-time, flexible scheduleOccasional evenings and/or weekends for specific events/projectsAttendance at several conferences each year, including IFI Staff RetreatsPay structure for a Campus Liaison:Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expensesTraining is provided to develop a team of ministry partnersPay range is typically between $28,093 and $87,418 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factorsAbout the area and Responsibilities of a Campus LiaisonThe overall role of the Campus Liaison is to build and maintain a positive and effective relationship between the non-profit organization IFI and the Ohio State University. This involves communicating IFI services to the university and international students effectively and coordinating campus ministers to engage with the campus to reach international students to show hospitality and extend God's love globally. This position is part of the Central Ohio ministry team and requires the candidate to live in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate would live within walking distance of the OSU campus.The Campus Liaison will (list not all inclusive): Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the roleWork with campus offices to find ways to serve international studentsGrow positive and mutually beneficial relationships with staff and facultyResearch and identify resources that foster good will among the community, such as Facebook pages, public transportation information for students, and various documents and websites Work together with other staff in their area of responsibility to model effective teamworkAttend all campus ministry meetingsQualifications from the Campus Liaison:Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policiesIs faithful, loyal, and dedicated to IFI's mission from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the GospelWell organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independentlyBe a self-starter, as well as a team playerAbility to work under stress and be flexibleProficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applicationsEducation/Experience Preferred for a Campus Liaison: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor degree in communication is preferred)Cross-cultural ministry experience is preferredInternational Friendships, Inc.
