Beyond offering logistics jobs, we build careers and fuel the future of foodservice distribution.​Receiving Clerk -Miami, FLWhat You’ll Do:The Receiving Clerk performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties to support the department in all aspects of the product procurement process. This role ensures timely and accurate coordination between vendors, carriers, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.In this Role, You’ll:Schedule delivery appointments using computer systems, ensuring balanced receiving schedules, tracing delayed shipments, and following up on late carriers.(35%)Compile, consolidate, and distribute delivery appointment reports, worksheets, and backhaul sheets for warehouse and transportation teams.(25%)Transmit purchase orders via phone, fax, or EDI to ensure timely communication with vendors.(15%)Calculate and update product pricing on a regular schedule to maintain accurate cost data.(5%)Notify carriers of new or revised loads, maintaining current and accurate records.(5%)Enter data for change orders and non-standard orders to ensure complete and accurate documentation.(5%)Maintain vendor files, pricing sheets, and correspondence for organized and accessible records.(5%)Perform other related duties as assigned.Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness in all workDemonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detailCollaborate effectively within the department and across teamsDeliver high-quality results that support customer satisfactionWhat You’ll Bring:0–2 years of relevant administrative or clerical experience, preferably in purchasing or inventory management.Basic understanding of office equipment (computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.)Familiarity with purchasing and inventory control principlesProficiency with PC-based software (Word, Excel, etc.)Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detailProblem-solving and communication skillsSchedule & Setting: Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer: -5°F to 38°F) Schedule: Monday – Friday 2PM-10:0PMWeekend and holiday availability requiredPay & Benefits: Weekly pay(every Friday) Health, dental, and vision benefits available after 30 days 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and more Company-provided uniforms and work shoes WHY JOIN USWe're not just in the business of distribution - we're in the business of development.
