Automation Engineer With Etl

Location: Austin TX – Remote

Client: LPL Financials

Must have:

• Process: ETL and Data Warehouse validation process
• DB: Simple to complex SQL for data validation
• Coding: Python(Data libraries such as Pandas/Pyspark and equivalent)

Good to have:

• Cloud: Cloud migration related knowledge in Azure, AWS, Snowflake
• CICD: Octopus, Teamcity and GitLab

JD:

8+ years of strong experience in ETL Testing, BI Testing

Create, design, and execute the test plans and test cases which covers ETL Process and Data Warehouse validation

Knowledge on Database objects and relational data models

Knowledge of Informatica and experience in ETL Testing

Planning, Monitoring and Control of Testing Activities and Tasks

Excellent in creating/analyzing simple to complex SQL for data validation

Experience with developing automated test scripts using Python or any testing tools

Good Understanding of various database technologies(DB2,Teradata,Oracle 10g/11g,SQL server, Big data/Hadoop, PostgreSQL)

Experience in testing Cloud migration applications (MS Azure, AWS, Snowflake) based testing

Good exposure in executing Proficient in a variety of interfaces including REST APIs, SQL, and web browser dev tools

Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language(Python, C#, Java, JavaScript)

Experience in continuous testing practices in a CI/CD development pipeline, and deploying test automation

Experience working with build & deployment tools eg: Octopus, TeamCity and GitLab etc.
