Position/Specialty: Med/Surg RN Shift: 4x12s, Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (consideration for 3x12s available) Ratios: 1:6-1:7 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend On-call Requirement: No Floating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a Med/Surg setting First-timers not accepted; travel experience is mandatory Special Requirements: Experience in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias preferred Traveler must complete all assigned modules prior to the start date Attendance at staff meetings is mandatory Additional Information: No cost for parking Facility type: Short-term acute care Total Staffed Beds: 97 Charting system: Epic Daily census: 36 Patient age groups: Adults, Geriatrics Patient diagnoses include, but are not limited to: Acute pain, Amputation, Anxiety, Bronchitis, Chest pain, CHF, COPD, COVID-19, Diabetes, Depression, Dysrhythmia, and Renal failure Special procedures/unit details: Unit staffing ratio of 1:6-7 Float and call requirements apply Hurricane season awareness: All employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June to November.
