This position supports patients throughout the West Houston market, including areas such as Houston Heights and Jersey Village; Katy; Sugar Land and Missouri City; Richmond and Rosenberg; and surrounding communities. Specific patient assignments will be determined based on clinician location and business needs.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant , you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

• Provide physical therapy services according to the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.

• Help patients work toward therapy goals that improve mobility, function, and independence.

• Monitor patient progress and promptly report changes in condition or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Educate patients and caregivers on home therapy programs and techniques to support continued progress.

• Teach patients and families how to safely use assistive devices, including canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics.

• Deliver safe, high-quality therapy services in accordance with physician orders, clinical standards, and state practice guidelines

What is Required?

• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association

• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred

• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment

• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations
