1. This scrum master will be responsible for standing up a BRAND NEW TEAM--- they must have this experience. Intially they will only handle one team then more will be added as they go
2. Will need to have a STRONG personality to push back on managers from time to time .

1. The team they are standing up is made up with a lot of fresh out of college resources so they will need to be coached on all things Agile/Scrum.

1. Need to be someone who s not by the Book does things bc the book says to, need to customize based on each team s needs. If they have that mentality, it is a no.

1. Will NOT entertain junior folks

1. Must have either a PSM (pref) or CSM.

1. Banking is a plus

1. Must have ADO ideally but Jira is ok

MUST HAVES:

• Scrum Master experience with standing up new teams, many of which have limited agile knowledge

1. CSM or PSM I certification (but PSM II or ACSM preferred)

1. Experience with Agile/Scrum tools, such as JIRA, preferably Azure DevOps.

Brief Description:

Responsible for a team's collaboration, transparency, and delivering product releases while meeting quality standards and milestones. Identifies and procures all necessary resources to meet project specifications. Facilitates Agile events and provides sprint-level reporting.

Detailed Description:

• Facilitates seamless collaboration and maximizes team performance by driving continuous improvement within assigned technical and non-technical teams.

1. Ensure rapid and timely delivery of business value streams and achievement of goals.

1. Mentors and coaches teams (including the Product Owner) in Agile practices and mindset.

1. Fosters a growth mindset and spirit of continuous improvement and learning.

1. Removes impediments to team progress whether internal to the team or organizational in nature. When necessary, escalates impediments to facilitate rapid resolution.

1. Supports and educates product owners, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog and decision making.

1. Ensures effective communication within and across teams.

1. Influences and facilitates the empowerment of a self-organizing team.

1. Schedules and facilitates cross-functional meetings.

1. Ensures appropriate progress tools, information radiators, and reports effectively provide transparency on team s progress and productivity.

1. Performs risk, issue, and dependency management for their team.

1. Ensures release management practices align to enterprise standards.

1. Manages the team Scrum Board along with the creation and management of Team Dashboards to provide information of Team Health, Sprint and Delivery progress, and Team Planning.

Basic Qualifications :

• Min 5 yrs of Agile experience

1. CSM or PSM I certification required

1. Scrum Master experience with standing up new teams, many of which have limited agile knowledge

1. Experience with Agile/Scrum tools, such as JIRA, preferably Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACSM or PSM II certification preferred

1. Knowledge of Agile project management fundamentals.

1. Experience writing user story persona statements and acceptance criteria using Gherkin.

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related discipline with an information technology or equivalent and extensive related IT Technical or Customer Support experience.

1. Two or more years of business requirements analysis.

1. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

1. High degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent IT-related concepts effectively.
