Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, performing physical exams and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues through analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential during surgery support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, administering medications, managing wound care, and conducting discharge planning and education for patients

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice is strongly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
