Summary Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing laboratory testing, primarily focused on blood and cell pellet processing within our Genomics Services unit, using the latest technologies. Responsibilities Sample preparation, including plasma and cell isolation from blood samples, cryopreservation, thawing, and cell counting Prepare solutions and reagents Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, and cleaning Enter sample information into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Dispose of hazardous chemical waste in accordance with regulatory guidelines Support inventory management and supply ordering Report results, errors, and observations as required Utilize laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office applications Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies (GCP, CAP/CLIA, ISO) and document all quality control activities, with the ability to recognize outliers and take appropriate corrective action Perform other duties as assigned Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university, preferably in Biological Sciences Qualifications Required Precise and detail-oriented Experience working with Microsoft Office Ability to write and speak fluently in English Preferred 1 year of laboratory experience Experience with PBMC isolation and cryopreservation Experience working in a GLP/GCLP environment Experience working in a BSL-2 environment using sterile techniques Working Conditions 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 100% onsite What We Can Offer Competitive wages ($18.08 - $24.09/hour) Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) retirement savings plan with a healthy match Vacation and sick time Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Referral Program About CellCarta CellCartais a leading provider of specialized precision medicine laboratory services to the biopharmaceutical industry.
