Facility Environmental Coordinator - Camden, TXGeorgia-Pacific is seeking qualified professionals to consider for a Facility Environmental Coordinator at our Camden, TX complex. Reporting to the Complex Environmental Manager, the Facility Environmental Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the environmental compliance program at the plywood plant and co-located lumber facility.Our TeamOur Camden Plywood facility in Camden, Texas, is situated in a community that offers a warm, small‑town atmosphere surrounded by the natural beauty of East Texas, providing an excellent quality of life for residents. To learn more about our Building Products division, visit You Will DoAssist with day‑to‑day environmental compliance requirements of applicable permits, plans, and regulations - these may include collecting records, preparing reports, monitoring & directing work performed by consultants, conducting inspections, and sample collection.Assist with training personnel and implementing Georgia‑Pacific's environmental 7‑element risk management system.Lead as a champion of Principle Based Management™ and Operations Excellence (OpEx) by communicating and demonstrating to employees how actions connect to GP's environmental vision and create long‑term value.Participate in the plant's strategic planning and project review process, track metrics, and support continuous improvement of the facility's environmental management system.Be proactive and assertive with a high sense of urgency related to problem solving.Work cohesively and effectively with others to deliver excellence in written/verbal communications, planning, documenting, organizing and executing multiple tasks simultaneously.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Management, or Environmental Science.Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.Working knowledge of Texas and federal environmental regulations.What Will Put You AheadExperience performing air and water field work.Prior or current experience working at Georgia‑Pacific or Koch company, including familiarity with our systems, processes, and culture.Our BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, ADD, disability, retirement, paid vacation/time off, educational assistance.May also include infertility assistance, paid parental leave and adoption assistance.Specific eligibility criteria is set by the applicable Summary Plan Description, policy or guideline and benefits may vary by geographic region.If you have questions on what benefits apply to you, please speak to your recruiter.Equal OpportunitiesEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
