Financial Analyst II
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc
Financial Analyst II position supporting the Customer Channels Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Pittsburgh. Reports to Commercial Finance Manager and collaborates with a finance team to manage customer incentives, contract implementation, and financial reporting for global commercial relationships.
Responsibilities
- Forecast, track and initiate payment of customer incentives monthly
- Prepare month-end accrual entries and variance analysis for customer performance
- Implement new contracts with internal departments for accuracy
- Generate standard reports supporting customers and sales teams
- Resolve multi-system variances and perform ad-hoc analysis as requested
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant financial work experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel and modeling skills
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Analytical problem-solving capability with ability to work under pressure
- Experience with Cognos, PowerBI, or MS PowerPoint valued
