Registered Nurse

This position involves providing care in a progressive care unit. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:5. Charge RN assignments and holiday shifts may be required as needed. Clinicians will float between multiple units and departments. Certifications in BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS are preferred. Key skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Experience in telemetry, cardiac telemetry, and neuro stepdown is essential. Additional care responsibilities include pre and post cardiac catheterization. Experience with sepsis, wound care, alcohol withdrawal, and renal failure is necessary. Candidate must be adaptable to floating between departments and facilities. The role may involve care for patients with a variety of diagnoses including AFIB, gastrointestinal bleeding, stroke, and COVID. Weekend shifts are required as part of the scheduling strategy. Must possess skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central line management. Experience in managing feeding tubes and accessing ports is also preferred. Compliance with training and module completion is essential prior to starting the position. This position requires a commitment to fulfilling the terms of the agreement in full.
