Details Works in the Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedures unit of a hospital setting Serves as primary/secondary circulator for diagnostic and interventional cardiology/vascular procedures Administers and monitors moderate sedation during procedures Provides pre/post procedural care, recovery, cardioversions, and loop recorder management Expected to float between Cath Lab and CVU Epic EMR experience required Schedule consists of 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00am-5:30pm No weekend or holiday requirements On-call responsibilities include late call and vascular call, with possible flex down due to case volume Requirements Active RN license in North Carolina (Standard or Compact) Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) ACLS and NIHSS certifications required Minimum one year of nursing experience required Cardiac Cath Lab experience required Acute cardiac care experience and pre/post procedural experience preferred Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN required; BSN or MSN preferred Epic EMR experience required Additional Information Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional nursing standards Performs bedside point of care testing as needed for patient care plans Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Communicates relevant patient information to promote continuity of care Participates in unit performance improvement activities and promotes a safe patient care environment Local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-764282.
