TISSUE PROCESSING TECH (2nd Shift, 18.25/hr)


Premier Biotech company located in Alachua, FL has an immediate opening for 3 new employees on 2nd shift (M-F, 2pm - 10:30pm). Work environment is a laboratory environment, sterile, air conditioned, professional, and offers opportunity for advancement.

Job duties:


-Performs tissue processing activities in accordance with applicable SOPs


-Responsible for accurately processing tissue products to the required specifications within expected processing times in order to meet production schedules.


-Works safely, uses appropriate PPE and applies adequate aseptic techniques in a clean room / controlled environment while performing individual tasks or contributing to a team effort.


-Follows requirements to properly dispose hazardous and non-hazardous waste.


-Accurately completes paperwork and performs data entry in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.


-Stores and moves tissue in appropriate locations to ensure accurate inventories of tissue in-process.


-Performs cycle count activities in accordance with SOP''s.

Requirements:


-HS Diploma or GED


-Reliable transportation


-AA or higher in science related field, or


-1+ years of experience in healthcare or laboratory setting or


-1+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing


-Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds multiple times a shift


-Comfortable working for short periods of time in a room under 32 degrees


-Ability to stand and work for 8 - 12 hour shifts

Positions begin at $17.00/hr with an additional $1.25/hr shift differential for 2nd shift.
