About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Collision Repair Technician to join our fast-paced, high-quality body shop. You’ll be responsible for completing structural and non-structural repairs, panel replacement, bodywork, and fit-and-finish to OEM standards, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform teardown, damage analysis, and blueprinting in coordination with estimators.
• Complete structural and non-structural repairs, including frame/measuring, panel replacement, metal finishing, plastic repair, and welding.
• Fit, align, and gap panels; prep vehicles for refinish; assist with masking as needed.
• Install/remove mechanical and electrical components related to body repairs (bolted-on parts, lighting, sensors, ADAS components).
• Document all repair steps and parts usage; follow OEM procedures and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with paint, parts, and estimating teams to maintain cycle time and quality KPIs.
• Conduct quality control checks and road-test (as required) before delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized bay and properly handle hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of collision/body repair experience in a professional shop (or equivalent training).
• Proficiency with frame racks and computerized measuring systems.
• Strong metalworking skills: welding (MIG/spot), panel bonding, dent repair, plastic repair.
• Ability to read/interpret repair blueprints, OEM procedures, and estimates.
• Experience with late-model vehicles, aluminum repair, and ADAS/component R&I preferred.
• I-CAR Pro Level or equivalent training preferred; OEM certifications a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods; commitment to safety and PPE use.

Tools and Equipment

• Candidate provides personal hand tools; shop provides major equipment (welders, lifts, aluminum tools, dust extraction).
• Familiarity with scan tools and pre/post-scanning workflows preferred.

Work Environment

• Full-time, onsite in a production-focused shop.
• Collaborative team with standardized repair plans, quality checks, and continuous training.
