High Voltage (HV) Electrical Engineering (EE): Technical Writer Tata Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technical Writer with a strong engineering background to support the development of Electrified Vehicle High Voltage Components Requirements, System DVP, Validation Test Reports, and related technical documentation. The Technical Writer with experience shall drive the creation, standardization, and governance of EE/HV, Functional, EMC, Environmental test specifications, validation procedures, and test reports for Automotive Design Verification (DV) and Production Validation (PV) programs. Recognized for elevating documentation quality, improving validation workflows, and enabling engineering teams to meet safety, reliability, and compliance requirements across complex automotive platforms. Key Strengths & Expertise Leads documentation strategy for DV/PV validation, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements, quality systems, and OEM validation frameworks. Authors and owns end to end documentation, including DV/PV test plan & validation reports. Interprets system, hardware requirements related to High Voltage and Power Electronics. Technical documentation of i2T Document, Creepage Clearance Specifications, Electrical design requirement, Electrical characterization, HW Validation Test Specifications, RF Test Plan, OK2FAB & Sign Off, Engineering requirement specifications (ERS), HW Validation Test Reports for Automotive OEMs / Tier 1 suppliers. Synthesizes raw engineering data from tools such as Jira, Hex, and internal RVT systems to produce structured, comprehensive reports. Collaborates closely with senior validation engineers, systems teams, quality, and program management to create validation plan and test report. Ensures all documentation complies with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, IATF 16949, APQP, and OEM specific DV/PV requirements. Leads documentation reviews, providing guidance on clarity, structure, compliance, and technical accuracy. Improves and standardizes templates and documentation processes, increasing consistency across engineering teams and enhancing audit readiness. Experienced with tools such as DOORS, Polarion, JAMA, Confluence, Jira, and enterprise PLM/document control systems. Ensures audit ready document control, including version management, change history, and controlled release according to program milestones. Translates complex technical inputs into clear, structured, and compliant validation documents used across global test teams. Drives standardization of documentation templates and workflows, reducing ambiguity and improving audit readiness. Ensures all validation documentation meets OEM expectations, regulatory requirements, and safety critical standards. Key Must Have’s Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related field) or equivalent technical experience. 4+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or Documentation Lead in Automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
