Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support diverse learning styles
• Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages growth, independence, and self-advocacy
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
• Track and assess student performance, maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required
