Staff Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Oklahoma City, OK (100% onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 DOE
Duration: 90-Day Temp-to-Hire
Robert Half is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity with one of our respected clients in Oklahoma City. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment with strong long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-charge bookkeeping duties, including maintaining accurate financial records
- Prepare and review trial balances
- Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
- Support light tax return preparation (not a primary focus)
- Conduct QuickBooks audits and ensure data accuracy
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- 2+ years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
