Sanitation Supervisor

As our Sanitation Supervisor, you will help supervise the activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safe environment of the facility and processing equipment daily. Your mission will be to oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of continually improving the sanitation of food safety and pest control programs. This includes revising the Master Sanitation Schedule, SSOP, work instructions, training documentation, and compliance audits. Here’s more of what you’ll get to do Supervises and coordinates all daily sanitation activities within the processing facility. Maintains GMP provisions that relate to cleanliness, food safety and pest control within the facility. Aids in the administration of biological monitoring procedures to determine the efficacy of sanitation methods. Responsible for maintaining a supply of cleaning chemicals necessary for operation of the cleaning program and in compliance with FIFRA, OSHA, and FDA regulations. Supervises the operations to maintain the highest rating possible on all annual audits and inspections. Develops and implements new methods, procedures, and systems to improve quality and food safety sanitation performances. Assists with QA and Operations to comply with all applicable OSHA requirements, food safety regulations and internal systems and processes. Responsible for verification of sanitation documentation, training and development of the sanitation team and process improvement of systems and procedures. What we require 5 years of minimum experience in food sanitation, preferably in the bakery/dessert or general food manufacturing industry Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience. Strong quantitative skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to think critically. Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups. Responsible for inventory management and organization of chemical, chemical cleaning supplies, PPE and paper goods. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work Ability to use MS Excel, Word, Outlook email and Kronos About the Company We are an equal opportunity employer.
