This is a HYBRID position - 3 days in-office per week in Downtown Chicago.

The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee the broader US Marketing organization, with deep expertise in email marketing and paid media operations. This role will lead multiple Pod Leads across Cloud Activation, Ads Campaign Operations, YouTube Marketing (YTM), and Consumer Growth Marketing Operations.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategic Alignment: Report directly to the US Sales and Marketing Associate Director, translating strategic priorities into effective execution across all marketing pods.
\n
• Global Partnership: Partner closely with APAC Marketing Leadership and teams to align US and APAC priorities, goals, deliverables, and execution.
\n
• Operational Excellence & Scale: Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve productivity, quality, and Customer Experience (CX). Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), develop remediation strategies, and partner with Process Excellence, Tools, and Automation teams to drive global efficiencies.
\n
• People Leadership: Lead, develop, and coach multiple Pod Leads, establishing performance expectations, KPIs, and career development plans. Conduct regular coaching and skip-level sessions while ensuring appropriate leadership coverage across pods.
\n
• Strategic Pod Oversight: Provide direction across channel strategy, operational excellence, brand awareness, and revenue growth initiatives for high-impact marketing programs.
\n
• Executive Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary escalation point across pods, managing global executive stakeholders and ensuring projects, timelines, resources, and deliverables align with business objectives.

• Program Governance & Performance: Oversee annual roadmaps and OKRs and guide Weekly and Quarterly Business Reviews (WBRs/QBRs). Monitor performance metrics, ROI, SLAs, and overall operational performance while partnering with HR on people performance management.

• Toolstack & Workflow Governance: Maintain operational rigor across marketing platforms, including Marketo, Gamma, and GNP, while overseeing integrated workflows from intake and production through data analytics.

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 15-22 years of experience in marketing operations and digital marketing (extensively in email marketing and paid media)
\n
• 8+ years of experience with operating email marketing and paid media campaigns (i.e. Ads via social media, Google search, YouTube), including developing comprehensive media strategies across various digital channels
\n
• Email Marketing (Salesforce, Marketo) and Digital Marketing (paid video, Google Ads, Meta Ads) are preferred
\n
• Direct Marketing Agency experience, since it's similar type of work - can be major companies
\n
• People Leadership: must be able to manage and lead 4 Managers, that oversee ~30 PM's
\n
• Strong stakeholder management experience (able to work well with senior leadership/executive level)
\n
• Degree in marketing required or a related field
\n
