Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse Oncology/Neuro

Schedule: Shift 1900-0730. Weekend shifts required: at least 4 in a 6-week period. Holiday coverage required.

Assignment Details: Floating to other medical-surgical areas is required. Nurses must be willing to take up to 8 patients when needed.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience. Certifications: BLS/BCLS.

Responsibilities: Provide care for patients with oncology and neurological conditions. Administer chemotherapy and manage symptoms related to treatment. Monitor and assess patients for mental status changes, seizures, and stroke symptoms. Assist with special procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and continuous EEG monitoring. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management.
