Key Responsibilities Conduct final inspections on all vehicles that have undergone repair or maintenance work. Verify that all work performed aligns with the service order and customer requirements. Check for cosmetic defects, such as paint imperfections, dents, or scratches, on vehicle exteriors and interiors. Ensure all mechanical and electrical systems have been serviced correctly and are functioning as expected. Test drive vehicles to assess performance, handling, and the effectiveness of repairs. Document inspection findings, highlighting any discrepancies or areas requiring attention. Communicate inspection results clearly to the workshop manager and relevant technicians. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company quality standards. Requirements Previous experience in a quality control, inspection, or automotive technical role. Strong understanding of automotive mechanics, systems, and common repair procedures. Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection. Ability to identify defects and ensure work meets high-quality standards. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings. Familiarity with automotive service procedures and manufacturer standards is advantageous. Ability to work independently and manage inspection schedules efficiently. A valid driver's licence is mandatory for test drives. Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Welkom area.
