Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sophisticated imaging equipment and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring optimal imaging and patient comfort.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations, prioritizing patient safety at all times.
• Maintain equipment according to manufacturer and hospital protocols, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to deliver seamless, high-quality care throughout cardiac procedures.
• Document procedural details accurately in medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Follow strict infection control, radiation safety, and hospital policy procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or allied health field related to cardiovascular care.
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required.
• Previous experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory strongly preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to maintain calm under pressure.
• Strong work ethic and adaptability in a hospital environment.
