We are North Shore Medical Center! Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Assists a Physical Therapist with a patient's rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Typically reports to a physical therapist.

Education/Experience

• Associate's degree from an accredited program and licensure as a physical therapist assistant, bachelors degree preferred.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
