CNA - Treatment Technician

About the Role: Ascend Mental Health Center is seeking a compassionate, organized Treatment Technician (CNA or MA) to facilitate cutting-edge Spravato (esketamine), and IM Ketamine treatments in a calm, outpatient setting.

This unique role perfectly bridges the gap between clinical care and administrative coordination. Instead of a chaotic, high-stress hospital floor, you will work in a peaceful environment where you monitor patients one-on-one during their 2 to 4-hour therapeutic windows, while keeping clinical schedules, documentation, and insurance prior-authorizations organized behind the scenes.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

• Treatment Facilitation & Monitoring: Administer IM Ketamine or Spravato treatments following physician protocols and FDA REMS guidelines. Observe patients during their 2 to 4-hour post-administration window, tracking vital signs and providing a calm, supportive presence.
• Clinical Coordination: Manage treatment schedules, handle EMR documentation, and assist with insurance prior-authorizations.
• Operational Support: Maintain clean treatment rooms, coordinate with psychiatrists, and assist with pharmacy orders.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA, CMA, or Behavioral Health Tech experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and a basic understanding of medical office workflows is a plus, but we are fully prepared to train the right candidate!
• Active BLS or CPR certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
