Machinist We are seeking a skilled machinist to set and operate machines, specifically milling machines, to create machine parts that meet precise specifications. Responsibilities Set up and operate milling machines. Measure, examine, or test completed units for defects and ensure they conform to specifications using precision instruments like micrometers. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. Essential Skills Experience in setting up and operating machines, specifically milling machines. Proficiency with CNC operations. At least 1 year of machine operation experience. Familiarity with using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Work Environment Join our team working in a dynamic environment with openings available on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
