Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities Complete accounting and finance tasks including: helping prepare the annual budget, preparing monthly forecasting reports, and monitoring and processing all accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. Help facilitate the successful operation of the building by completing property inspections, responding to tenant inquiries and service requests, and ensuring the property is well maintained. Research, resolve or develop and coordinate action plans to address issues identified in tenants, vendors, etc. Coordinate assigned contract bidding, vendor selection, and contract negotiation and maintain vendor relationships, e g. janitorial, landscaping, etc. Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customers. Assist in coordinating and managing tenant improvement and capital projects. Essential Skills and Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a relevant property management function. General knowledge of cash and accrual accounting principles and processes as they apply to budget preparation, financial statement analysis, building account management, AP and AR. Lease administration experience. Strong tenant relations experience. Operations experience (managing vendors, contracts, & projects). Experience working in property management and accounting systems, or the aptitude to quickly pick these systems up. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to conclusion and to display sound and accurate judgment. Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently. Salary Range $64,000 - $75,000 (Salary range is consistent with what the business reasonably expects to pay a new hire.
