Sr. Database Administrator

Job Duties:

Under limited supervision, install, configure, tune, test and maintain complex computer databases and implement high availability solutions; gather and interpret functional specifications and user requirements, and translate into technical requirements and design documents; support and maintain all corporate SQL Server databases; develop business critical reports; support and maintain application functions; create database tables; create classes and convert data received into correct format; create stored procedures, views, user defined functions and triggers; automate jobs; implement migration and upgrades; coordinate with cross functional teams in the delivery of projects and tasks in accordance with policies and procedures; approve, schedule, plan and supervise installation and testing of new products/improvements; debug programs; plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure; ensure databases meet best practices for security; test databases, correct errors and make modifications; execute disaster recovery and planning; mentor/assist less experienced team members; train users; and use: Windows, VMware, SQL Server, Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, SQL Profiler, DTS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Crystal Reports, Power BI, SQL, MySQL, VSTS, HTML, XML, C+, CSS and related tools.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Master degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).

Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a Database Administrator, Database Architect, Network Architect or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include 2 years of work with VMware, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS; must be willing to relocate.
