About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Meditech experience preferred Med Surg experience Description: Orientation is bi-weekly. The facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission accredited. Services include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services. The position involves working on a medical-surgical unit. There are 22 beds on each unit. Patient ratios range from 6:1 to 7:1. Equipment includes telemetry. The Electronic Health Record system in use is MEDITECH. The patient population consists of adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses/treatments include surgical interventions and psychiatric placements. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and willing to float as needed. Required education is an Associate's degree in Nursing. Dress code is scrubs of any color. No unacceptable attire specified.
