Med/Surg Tele RN - Contract Position

This is a 13-week contract position with the potential for extension.

Shifts may include rotating schedules: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Flexibility is required to meet the operational needs of the hospital.

We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN to provide essential nursing care in a hospital setting. The role may involve floating to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to support the same patient population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, administering appropriate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to facility protocols.
• Assist with the orientation of new staff as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing, with recent experience preferred.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required at time of submission.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required and must be current.
• Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.
