General Cardiologist

Position Details Primary Department or Practice: UHS Heart and Vascular Institute Johnson City The United Health Services Hospitals Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a general Cardiologist to join our growing Cardiology team. The Institute has 12 cardiologists, including 4 interventionalists, 3 electrophysiologists, and 5 non‑interventionalists, and 11 cardiology NPs. You will work beside highly trained professionals dedicated to excellent cardiac care. UHS Heart & Vascular also offers teaching opportunities within our Cardiology Fellowship (8 fellows total), as well as teaching residents and medical students with Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, and the ability to participate in clinical research. Annual Salary Range: $700,000 - $800,000 Responsibilities Provide comprehensive cardiology care, both inpatient and outpatient. Collaborate with interventionalists, electrophysiologists, and cardiology NPs to deliver high‑quality patient care. Participate in teaching of fellows, residents, medical students, and support staff. Engage in clinical research opportunities as they arise. Perform and supervise appropriate cardiac procedures and interventions. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (must obtain certification within two years of hire). Ability to commit to a 1:5 call schedule. Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills. Benefits Competitive salary range of $700,000 - $800,000. Malpractice insurance included.
