Prep Cook/Food Ambassador Simple Eatery & Spoon It Up

We are looking for a skilled Prep Cook to prepare items per our in house recipes. You will be provided recipes for all items. Knife skills a plus for cutting and dicing several items. Ability to learn and work with par levels needed. The correct person must be able to follow instructions/recipes in cooking and delivering well-prepped food. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. A great ‘can-do’ attitude, team-work, calm under pressure presence is ideal. The candidate will be an early riser with hours aprx. 5am-12pm. Nice shift for getting work done early and enjoying much of the day still. Our kitchen team earns tips plus hourly wage. Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Prepare said items by cooking some and mixing properly Ensure items are ready for cooking use. Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Requirements: Willingness to learn, study, practice outside of work.
