Pay Rate

• Salary Range: Min $95,000 – Mid $105,000 (10 years of experience) – Max $112,000/yr (15+ years)

• Sign-On Bonus: No Sign-on

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or valid Multi-State Compact license

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

• 3+ years of recent (within the last year) Acute Care OR (Operating Room) leadership experience required

• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required within 30 days of employment start date

• Proven leadership track record in surgical throughput, patient safety, and regulatory readiness

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and 24-hour accountability for the delivery of safe, high-quality surgical nursing care

• Ensure departmental standards of practice and clinical policies fully comply with accrediting and regulatory agency guidelines

• Direct multidisciplinary care coordination and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and cross-functional teams

• Develop, implement, and track quality improvement programs to meet hospital core measures and service excellence goals

• Oversee capital equipment maintenance, surgical supply availability, and surgical suite readiness

• Participate in proactive patient rounding to enhance overall patient outcomes and the patient experience

• Manage department staffing, productivity, and professional development across perioperative personnel

Additional Position Details

• Facility Size: 267 Beds (Level II Trauma Center, Open-Heart Surgery Program, Advanced Primary Stroke Center)

• OR Unit Size: 12 total surgical suites (10 Main ORs + 2 dedicated CVORs)

• Surgical Volume: Average of 25 cases per day

• Department Oversight: Roughly 62 FTEs (no additional secondary departments)

• Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Director of Surgical Services
