Customer Relations Receptionist Overview

Establish and develop relationships with new and current consumer and business customers in support of First Western Bank & Trust’s sales and service objectives while adhering to the bank’s culture of customer service excellence.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in person or on the phone in a timely, courteous, and professional manner
• Properly identify each customer in accordance with bank policy and uphold confidentiality of customer and proprietary information
• Establish and develop solid relationships with new and current consumer and business customers through identifying needs, providing the best bank products and services for customer’s financial needs, and using cross-sell and referral opportunities
• Manage daily coffee bar operations, including preparing coffee and cookies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all supplies are fully stocked
• Assist customers with debit card maintenance, check orders, and address changes
• Handle Return Mail by attempting to contact customers to update address, monitoring progress of contact and maintaining Return Mail log for compliance review
• Assist with access to safe deposit boxes
• Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of bank products, services, processes, policies, procedures, and systems 
• Mentor and train new employees, as needed
• Actively participate in necessary training sessions and maintain continuing education related to regulatory standards
• Adhere to Bank’s security and audit procedures and demonstrate compliance with applicable banking laws, regulations and the Bank’s policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act

Customer Relations Receptionist Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• One year of banking experience preferred

Customer Relations Receptionist Skills/Abilities

• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
