We are seeking a Service Assistant to join our growing Yacht Business Unit in Florida. This role will provide day-to-day administrative and insurance service support to Account Executives and clients, helping ensure accounts are managed accurately, efficiently and with a high level of client service.

The Service Assistant will play an important role in the overall client experience by coordinating policy transactions, maintaining accurate account information, communicating with insurance carriers and supporting the Account Executive team with renewals, endorsements and other account needs.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Provide day-to-day administrative and service support to Account Executives managing yacht and marine insurance accounts.
• Assist with new business submissions, renewals, endorsements, certificates and other policy-related transactions.
• Request, collect and organize information and documentation needed from clients and carriers.
• Prepare applications, submissions and other insurance documentation for review by Account Executives.
• Communicate with insurance carriers, wholesalers and other business partners regarding account activity and policy transactions.
• Process policy changes, endorsements and other service requests accurately and within established timelines.
• Assist with renewal preparation, including gathering updated vessel, client, coverage and loss information.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client, policy and activity information within the agency management system.
• Monitor outstanding requests and follow up with clients, carriers and internal team members to ensure items are completed.
• Assist Account Executives with preparing client correspondence, proposals, renewal information and other materials.
• Respond to routine client questions and service requests or appropriately escalate matters to the Account Executive.
• Assist with policy checking to identify discrepancies between applications, quotes, binders and issued policies.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical account files in accordance with agency procedures.
• Support the team with special projects, reporting and other administrative responsibilities as needed.

What You Bring

• 1+ year of experience in insurance, financial services, client service or a related administrative role preferred.
• Experience in commercial, personal lines, high-net-worth, yacht or marine insurance is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional communication style.
• Comfortable working with insurance carriers, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn agency management and CRM systems quickly.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
• Active insurance license or willingness to obtain required licensing is preferred.
